I have an associate whose OneNote add-in in Outlook results in a blank error.I tried removing the add-in and re-adding it, but culdnt get it to add.So tried wiping it and re-installing, but still comes up with the same error.Open up OneNote 2016 via your Start Menu, but run as Administrator.
Right click, then choose More and Run as Administrator OneNote will open, might take a minute as this error has something to do with it being set up on the computer. Once it is open, just close it out and then open it again as you normally would (not Run as Admin). This has worked for a couple of organizations I have recommended it to.
